There are more than 2.50 lac cases of corona virus worldwide. The AFP gave the figure on Friday based on official sources. At least 2,62,671 cases of the disease were reported from 163 countries of the world and 11,169 patients died.

The virus first appeared in China in December, where it infected 80,976 people and killed 3,248 patients. Italy has the highest number of 4,032 deaths from this disease and 47,021 cases.

These data, based on test tests, may be only a fraction of the actual infection rate, as many countries examine only those with very severe symptoms.

The corona virus has led to 78 more deaths, with the number of deaths in the country increasing to 450.

France's top health official, Jerome Salomon, said that so far 12,612 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus in France. He warned that this is a much lower figure than the actual figures infected with the disease.

He said that 5,226 people have been admitted to the hospital due to this virus, of which 1,300 are in intensive care. He said that half of the patients admitted to intensive care rooms are 60 years or so.
